The archaeologists Every summer (June-July) a group of archaeologists and students arrive at Kissonerga to continue the excavations that started in 2007 by Dr. Lindy Crewe. This ongoing work has revealed a settlement that was continuously occupied from at least the beginning of the Early Bronze Age (ca. 2500 BC). During the final phase a significant building complex with evidence for domestic and industrial activities, including beer production, was constructed. I had been given a permission to follow and photograph the archaeologists at field in the summer of 2016. I spent many hours with them during their excavations and their other activities at their residence (in the buildings of the local public primary school) trying to document their work.
